About Figure Skating Club of Louisiana

We were established in 2016 through Ice Skating Institute (ISI). In 2019 we were accepted to have a club with USFS. We are here to encourage skaters to be the best they can, no matter what format that might bring; shows, testing, competition, or just recreational. We try to meet the needs of our skaters. We understand everyone is different and we try to be a great resource to everyone about figure skating. The club provides opportunities for in house testing, shows, and competitions, which we highly encourage all of our skaters to participate in. Our members are diverse, from very young to adult skaters. We are here to listen to the members of the club and help maintain our goals and mission for what we believe figure skating should be about.

Learn to Skate

We provide classes to teach all ages how to skate. We provide lessons for general recreational, figure skaters, and beginning hockey players

Elite Program

Done with Learn to Skate (Basic Skills), the Elite Program is a great program to start learning more about Figure Skating and develop further your skating skills along with having opportunities to test Moves in the Field (Skating Skills).

Freestyle Sessions

We provide Freestyle Sessions for figure skaters to practice their skills or receive a private lessonre to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

Our sessions are:

Mon - Thur 4-6pm

Fri 7-9am

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are for skaters that have either passed Learn to Skate classes or have circumstances that they cannot attend Learn to Skate class. This is also a first come basis due to the limited amount of time and coaches available.
